The wide base keeps it sturdy, and as a bonus, holds  a secret silicone storage tub for storing your stash. The external silicone stem is fixed, and there's a lift out glass cone for air intake. Its silicone build makes it highly durable and just about unbreakable, so it's great as a traveler, to chuck in a backpack, take camping, or if you're just a clumsy unit who is prone to breaking glass.
