Getting the right stem comes down to two things — the material and the fitting type. Here's how our range breaks down:

  • Glass Bong Stems — glass downstems are popular because they don't affect flavour and are easy to clean. We stock glass slider stems in 14mm and 18mm fittings, diffuser downstems in 8cm, 10cm and 12cm lengths, and bonza-to-standard glass conversion stems. Compatible with most glass-on-glass bongs.
  • Metal Bong Stems — anodised aluminium and alloy stems for acrylic and standard bongs. Our Standard Anodised Aluminium Stem and Bonza Anodised Aluminium Stem are our most popular replacements — tough, affordable and available in multiple lengths from 6cm to 20cm.
  • Stem Kits with Cone Pieces — if you need a complete replacement, our stem kits come with a matching brass cone piece and collar included. Available in standard and bonza fittings, with slip-in, screw-in and pop-in cone options from Waterfall and The Bong Shop.
  • Diffuser Downstems — diffuser stems have slits or holes at the base that break smoke into smaller bubbles before it hits the water. The result is noticeably smoother and cooler hits compared to a standard stem. Available in 8cm, 10cm and 12cm glass diffuser versions.
