Self-Made Success
In 2016, the world's first dedicated factory for the manufacture of medical herbal HAGs was built by STORZ & BICKEL in the German town of Tuttlingen.
This allowed the company to increase its production and learn from the region which has been considered a hub of development in medical technology.
More than 150 years ago, Tuttlingen played host to the first factory built for the production of surgical instruments. These days, it's home to almost 500 medical device manufacturers.

STORZ & BICKEL met ISO 13485 in 2009 for the manufacture of medical devices which set them up for success in a very marketable industry.
